ABOUT US
We got started raising Bearded Dragons when we got our 1st dragon, named Leion. We all fell in love with him and he just amazed us by how wonderful a pet he made. We then over the years bought more dragons from different breeders and at different shows. Our experiences have taught us alot. For example: when we bought our first baby dragon from a guy at a show one year, it was too young to be sold and did not survive. We know that we have been burned by people over the years and that we just don’t want the pets we offer to be just about the money. We don’t just want to sell you a pet. We want to be the ones that introduce a new friend into your life.
Corder Dragons is about bringing good, healthy, vet-certifed Bearded Dragons (in different color morphs and patterns) that are genetically sound without all the inbreeding that some breeders do. We always keep a seperate bloodline running to diversify their gene pool so our breeding line is never genetically weak.
Each of our dragons get human interaction on a daily basis; and we dont mean " hello and good bye" or "hey there", as we walk by the tank. Every dragon gets out of their home and spends some time interacting with us.
We also dont want to be the guys that sold you a dragon and then when you call or email to ask a question or have a concern refuses to respond. We still speak to people who have gotten dragons from us years ago. We love getting calls telling us that their dragon is “so big” now and receiving pictures of them in odd poses. We also dont mind answering any questions about us or our dragons. Even when its what or why your dragon may be doing such odd things.
We also started up a group on www.meetup.com (under lizards), to help generate as much knowledge and information as we can. Its about the dragon and his or her owner(s) and the joy they get from them. We are true dog lovers but sometimes we swear the dragons are smarter than the dogs.
We promise that when you get a dragon from us it is healthy, geneticaly sound, and vet-certified. All at a reasonable price.
